PHOTOGRAPHERS THAT INSPIRE ME

LUKE TSCHARKE

Frequent contributor to the Australian Geographic magazine, Luke Tscharke, is and Australian multi-award winning landscape and nature photographer.

Many of his works feature sunrises and sunsets which particularly appeal to me as an artist. I find my self drawn to the blues and pinks he exhibits and I strive to encapsulate similar features in my own landscape work.

MICHAEL DOE

Michael Doe is an Australian amateur macro photographer that bases his art around his researching of the Maratus spider species, also known as the peacock spider. Doe is one of the three founders of project Maratus, the first coordinated approach into investigating the peacock spider's distributions throughout Australia and the habitats they depend upon.

The photography of Michael doe is an inspiration of what I strive to achieve. His high resolution, immensely colourful and entirely beautiful photography allows us to see these tiny creatures in all their glory, a goal I hope to achieve with my own photography.

JINGNA ZHANG

Jingna Zhang, a Chinese-born fashion and fine art photographer based in New-York is best known for photographic works featured on the cover pages of Bazar, Vogue, Elle among many other esteemed businesses.

Her photography style is rather abstract and unusual and as such will always catch the eye of her views. as an artist who dabbles in portrait photography, I aspire to achieve the level of perfection, beauty and peculiarity she has encapsulated in her photographs.
